Wait a Year

(overheard at the bar)

Guy 1: Hey man, where’re you from?

Guy 2: Georgia.

G1: Military?

G2: Yeah.

G1: How long have you been on island?

G2: About three months.

G1: Yeah, the first six months, you can’t wait to get out of here. But then you start getting around and meeting really good people and you find out there’s a lot of really cool things about Guam. In a year you’ll be thinking about extending. Seriously.
