Update on PFG
Good news for all you PFG addicts: I received an email from Bertina who says the People From Guam site is still alive and the rumors about them being shut down aren’t true. She says they are in the process of cleaning up the site and switching servers. Hey PFG, next time it would be a good idea (and good public relations) to send all your members an email beforehand to let them know what’s up. Judging by my recent search engine referrals, lots of people are jonesing for their PFG fix.
I wonder if by “cleaning up the site” they mean the design will be Mac and Firefox friendly? I hope so.
I would love to see PFG working with Firefox. I hate IE with a passion. I never use it now, but I always need to cross check since more than 90% of my blog visits and Shoyoroll visits are via I.E. Everyone needs to kill that browser!!
Glad to hear PFG is going back online!
Good work on finding the facts, Jos! Glad they’ll be up and running soon…
Trench: other than checking for compatibility, I never use IE either. It amazes me how many people still use the browser.
Kate: this will only make sense to very few in the audience, but I really hope you are surfing and posting comments HORIZONTALLY!!
Firefox is great but have you tried Avant Browser? It has all the fuctionality of IE without the headaches.
I haven’t tried Avant. I read up a little on it and I like the idea of filtering Flash ads, but I think it’s a pc-only browser.
I hope so. I’ve never tried PFG on Firefox, because everytime I go there he’s always fixing something. It’s always the same though. Well thank god he’s switching servers.
Great news! PFG is now Firefox friendly… Mac compatibility is almost there 🙂
Thanks for the suggestions everyone!
