Tanguisson Beach

Take the road to the left as you enter Tanguisson Park. It goes around the back of the power plant and will take you to a stretch of beach that is far enough removed that you’ll soon forget Tanguisson Park is located next to a very distracting and ugly power plant. The fishing in that area must be decent because there were quite a number of men pole fishing from the shore. Other than the occasional fisherman walking by, we had the place to ourselves which was great because we brought the dogs and they were able to roam free and play. Too bad the weather only held up a couple of hours.

Wow! That is such a gorgeous place. It makes me long for Hawaii. It would be so cool to be able to visit such loveliness everyday.

    Wow… nice pic Josie!

Sad to say… I think there are signs saying not to fish or swim there. The power plant is leaking or was leaking petroleum into the water for years. I remember it was a big deal when the plant was turned over to GovGuam.

Hm. I didn’t see any No Fishing/Swimming signs. Maybe they all blew away the last typhoon? Or maybe the beach has been cleaned up since? I hope it’s the latter! 🙂
