Sunday Share – The Lovey Dovey 90’s Guilty Pleasure Pop Edition
A day late, but better late than never!
Soho – Nuthin’ on my mind
Like Jody Watley, I think Soho was ahead of their time. I liked their Goddess cd so much I paid for it three times because people kept stealing it from me. This song was used in the movie Career Opportunies when ‘Josie’ (Jennifer Connelly) and what’s his name were dancing and messing around in Target.
Undercover – Never Let Her Slip Away
Other than this song, I don’t know much else about Undercover. This song is from the double cd compilation Now 23 I bought in the 90s.
Guys Next Door – I’ve Been Waiting For You
OMG. I’ll bet no one else remembers the 90s boy band Guys Next Door who also had a Saturday morning tv show that came on after Saved By The Bell.
Links are only good until the next Sunday Share.
Awww, another Sunday Share 🙂 Very nice!
undercover was an odd concept band that was under that whole stock, aikman, waterman umbrella (ric astley, bananarama, dead or alive) during the nineties…i think everything they released was a dance version of a cover song, sometimes of a song that was released only months before their version (every breath you take, the way it is). this was an andrew gold cover (remember “lonely boy”?).
I actually still have The Guys Next Door cd, but I don’t know how or why. It’s filed right next to my “The Heights” cd.
I find that oddly comforting to know, leevin.
