Stay Tuned
If you look in today’s PDN, on page 17 you’ll get a glimpse of the result of all the hours of shooting I’ve been caught up in recently. More will be launching in the coming days. Work has been super busy and I’d like to tell you all about it because it is all really cool & exciting stuff, but right now just thinking about it exhausts me.
I’m tired, but it’s a happy satisfied tired. I am simply amazed that people pay me good money to do what I do. What a trip.
hey josie, do you have any tips for us (meaning me) first-time photographers?
Take lots and lots of photographs.
Know your camera like the back of your hand.
Mind the light, shadows, lines, textures, and details.
Get down low or shoot from the hip.
Keep it simple.
Rethink everything.
Take your time and give yourself room to move.
Then go back, Jack, and do it again. 🙂
thanks for the tip, josie!
get down low or shoot from the hip? maybe that’s why kailea’s shots always turn out great….
have a great day,
inna

That’s great, Josie.
But a chicken pita for $3.25? Outrageous!
In regards to the Ad…
1st Ad:
Guy with a camera around this neck with a passport and a eurair boarding pass
2nd Ad:
Lady clutching a VL type purse but instead of the VL logo it says 10KX5
3rd Ad:
Image of back of an SUV that has the license place 10KX5
4th Ad:
Guy sitting watching 10KX5 on this fancy flat screen TV
The ads pose the question “What would you do”
At first I thought it was another GTA ad, but as it stewed in my mind I think it’s an Ad that has something to do with BMW.
I think it could be one of the these:
A contest where you write in and tell them what would you do with 10K and an X5 and if you’re the winner you get 10K as a prize.
Or
It’s an attempt to ask you what would you do with the 10K you would save off the normal price of an X5.
Or
I could be totally wrong.
Yes, this looks great. I saw the other ad for Friday’s paper, with the couple at the airport. It goes well with the world/nation section.
(it’s not very clear in this photo but isn’t the little girl peeking from the group of praying women sooo cute? i love that wire photo.)
Happy Thursday!
Er, I meant Thursday! :#) But Friday will come too. lol.
Im still trying to figure out what your ads are for!! haha
The answer is in today’s PDN (10/26/06)! haha
Thanks Josie. let me see if I can find that issue
