Shoot Yourself for GU #21

Here’s something new that I’m excited about. GU Magazine’s new format has several departments that call for reader contributions in both writing and photography. One of the sections I’ll manage is called Shoot, where I come up with a photo theme and you send in your best shot for a chance to get published in the magazine. I’m excited to see all the talent come out of the woods! The first theme is “Self-Portrait” and GU is currently accepting photographs to be considered for the July/August issue.
The rules for this theme are simple:
1. You are the subject of the photograph.
2. You took (shot) the photograph.
Deadline to submit your self-portrait is June 5 (I’m sure through the weekend is fine). Be creative and fun…or dramatic and reflective. It’s up to you! Have fun with it! Can’t wait to see what you come up with!
