Resolutions for 2006
2005 was a challenging year for me in many aspects. Frankly I am glad to see it go. Yesterday I de-cluttered as much as I could, not because I believe in the superstition that if your house is not in order before the new year rings in, your house will be in disorder throughout the new year. I just like to start each year with as much of a clean slate as possible.
I usually don’t make new year resolutions, but this year there are some things I’d like to make a point to do. Writing them down might help keep me accountable.
– Less television and internet, more adventures and making memories.
– Let my yes mean yes, and my no mean no. Stop feeling guilty for saying no.
– Stop going to bed with my contact lenses or makeup on.
– Accept compliments graciously. Listen to criticism openly, not emotionally.
– Just get it over with and watch Star Wars Episode 3 already.
– In all circumstances, be a lady.
What did you do to celebrate the new year?
What are your resolutions?
My New Year’s resolutions:
1. Have better posture.
2. Learn to love my freckles and multiplying gray hair.
3. Try to accept that I’m 5’1″ and probably not going to get any taller.
4. Be kind to myself.
ps- I love the Christmas photo of you and Addie.
well, let me help.
great photo. i smile when i look at it. i totally enjoy your work, and look forward to it in this new year.
happy new year!
My biggest resolutions.
#1 Stop smoking socially. I’ve quit when Im at home and at work, but I still smoke when we go out bar hopping.
#2 Spend more time with my new wife. We’ve been together for 9 years, but now its time to make the husband and wife memories come to life.
happy new year..
smile more.. uhm.. be good.. stop sleeping w/ random women.. and to be nicer this year.. although.. i did do that thing for Jess, so being nicer will have to wait until tomorrow.. lol..
ang…
i will cut myself some slack. just one of a few….
happy new year from your fave californians. 🙂
HAPPY NEW YEAR TO YOU AND ADDI..
oi! i thought i was over my partying days, but we went on an adventure in afros last night. or shall i say until 8 in the morning… anyways, resolutions…
i do like the one about not sleeping in makeup!! (i’m sooo tired, but i truly regret it in the morning..
i think i’ll add that to my short list..
1. no complaining .. this is a byproduct of boyfriend syndrome. whenever i have a boyfriend, i tend to complain more.
2. no boyfriends in 2006. time to truly focus on me.
3. start up with a gym again.
oh and i love this pic of you too..
I’m not very good at keeping the same resolutions that I make every year – quit smoking, be a better person. I’m glad to see 2006 as well. This year’s gotta be better than the last :-/
Great pics by the way!
Fabulous photo and great resolutions. Mine are to continue to get healthy and read more. I know those are vague but they’re important. Happy 2006!
A new years resolution or a phrase that I’m trying to keep in mind this year is “Let it go!”..Keeping that phrase at the top of my mind helps to enjoy life a lot more not get caught up on things that will only just waste time!
I’m loving all these resolutions!
Enjoy yourself in 2006! 🙂
Happy New Year!
I have a few promises that I’ve made to myself.
Sleep More
Be more aware of what I put in my mouth.
Put a little variety in my workouts
Spend more time playing with Joshie
Continue to save $
Save $$ to make it home to Guam either this year or next
Live in the moment
That’s what I have for now.
