Rainy days and Mondays

I had a nice weekend. I did just enough to feel a sense of accomplishment but not so much where I don’t feel I got any rest. I’m practicing the art of balance.
Tonight I’ll get the pictures back from the underwater disposable camera I used when we snorkled Rick’s Reef yesterday. Hopefully there will be something from the roll that’s worth posting. It would be a crying shame if there isn’t because I’d never seen sea urchins so big in all my life! At least not in their natural habitat. So here’s hoping for one good sea urchin picture.
Shooting with a film camera takes some getting used to when you’re accustomed to the instant gratification that comes with shooting digital. I never said patience was one of my virtues.
I hope you had a nice weekend, too.

The light aquamarine color of the posts underneath the pier and the matching color of the water makes me love this picture. It looks like the rain is washing away the paint from the bottom of the posts and spreading into the ocean.

well being its a tourist attraction your best bet is to hang out there for at leat an hour to an hour and a half. we used to get a large group every hour and a half, i’m not sure on how they do it now. also you should get addy to take you to a dinner show, its really pretty at night and u get to eat dinner with a polynesian show across the street.
