The Barbie Dream House. It looked like this:
I never dreamt I would grow up and actually live in one though.
Ain’t life funny?
And you? What was the one toy you wanted as a kid that your parents never bought you?
a bike.
so, for my 25th birthday, my bestfriend in guam got me one.
Rock ‘Em Sock ‘Em Robots is the one toy I always wanted that my parents never bought me. In fact, I’ve never even played with Rock ‘Em Sock ‘Em Robots to this day. Oh, and I never had a Big Wheel either because by the time they were developed I was too big to ride one. *sigh*
I wanted this playdoh fast-food diner set that could make hamburgers and other greasy fare out of clay. My mom said that they weren’t selling it on Saipan, only on the mainland. That’s probably what they said so they could buy me the cheap knock-off Barbie with interchangeable heads.
But I actually did have that Barbie house.
A Nintendo! They didn’t want me to waste my time with video games, which probably explains why I am now obsessed with them as an adult (not like I have time to play). But you know the most aggravating thing is that my parents got a PS2 for my youngest sister a couple Christmases ago. GRRR!
That really does look like the barbie house! I always wanted a pet snake 😛
I always wanted a “Hello Kitty” room.
i wanted an easy bake oven. lol.
I also wanted a Barbie Dream House. I never got one but we now live it our dream house. It doesn’t look like the barbie dream house though, but I still love it.
I wanted lotsa cabbage patch dolls…because everyone had a collection. But I only got one, and her name was Helena.
