El Asado

I would love to have a table like this out in the backyard.

Last night we had dinner at the El Asado restaurant in the Alupang Beach Tower and it was fun cooking our food right at the table. Actually, I had fun watching Addison cook our food at the table. He’s the Head of Barbecue in our family and nothing can pry a set of tongs from his hand.
Click here to watch him in action. (4mb/Quicktime)
$20 all you can eat bbq buffet (chicken, beef, shrimp, short ribs, crab legs, fish, clams) includes rice, miso, salad, iced/hot tea, coffee and dessert (ice cream). Opens for dinner at 5:30.

Wow, only $20 for all that. I wish there was an El Asado in Southern California. 😉

That’s such a cool idea to include the grilling video, Josie. It’s like we’re right there sharing the experience with you. I have to give props to Addison for his tong wielding, meat turning skill. ;D

Did you notice how he wrapped the shrimp in slices of ham and secured them with toothpicks? That’s why I leave the grilling to him. I’m not worthy. LOL

I didn’t notice the ham wrapped shrimp. That is some grilling expertise there for sure. 😉
Did you notice he gives each piece of meat a little pat with the tongs after turning?

I didn’t notice that before…that is too funny! LOL

No place like Guam to get a good meal. Yum, I’ll have to check that out nex time I go home.
