Osaka Day 2

Today we explored Osaka Park, Osaka Castle and the Umeda Sky Building. Walked around the city a bit. Took a ride in the giagantic Hep Five ferris wheel. Still freezing. The temperature is not bad…it’s the wind that kills me and makes my face feel like it is being burned off with acid. It’s actually kind of fun as it is so different from what I am accustomed to.

At the park I made friends with a Japanese kitty. Am I destined to become one of those creepy cat ladies we all fear?

Ok, I tried the octopus balls that are so famous in Osaka. Sorry, but it’s not my bag baby. But at least I can say I tried one…and then promptly gave the rest to a homeless man sitting nearby.
