I didn’t anything outdoorsy over the weekend, there were people to meet (more on this later) and things to do. Among the things to do was the First Annual Chocolate Festival that was held in the Outrigger lobby on Sunday afternoon. Other than free admission, there wasn’t much else ‘festive’ about it. What’s up with packing two hundred people in a 10′ X 30′ space and only giving them one way to get in and out? I left the Chocolate Festival with renewed appreciation for the always organized Pastries in Paradise.

Only Medal For Bode Is Fool’s Gold. Between just Bode Miller, Lindsey Jacobellis, and ice-princess Johnny Weir, I’m guessing this year’s Winter Olympics will be remembered as the one where the U.S. team fell a little short. In Bode’s case A LOT short.

I loved the story about the basketball player. I caught it on ESPN2, (I think they did a better job telling the story than CBS). I was getting ready for work at the time and needless to say had to redo the makeup job.
