I’d rather be napping

I’m back from what feels like the shortest weekend, ever.
Except for the part when Addison and I watched The Dukes of Hazzard. That’s when time stopped ticking and it felt like the longest two hours, ever.
Being in love with someone sometimes means having to spend time doing things you neither like nor understand, but you do them anyway because the one you love wants to. Like paying good money to watch The Dukes of Hazzard on the big screen, for example. That right there is just scratching the surface of sacrificial love.

I hear you girl! I also had to endure “Dukes” this weekend at the surprising request of Josh. Thank goodness he realized what a big mistake it was about 45 minutes into it. We wallked out, of the still rolling film, the same way we walked in…with our heads bowed in shame.

I think Addi’s desire to watch the movie was largely due him watching the Dukes of Hazzard marathon that’s been playing on CMT all last week. The movie was the pits! But at least the nachos were good.

It’s good to see sacrificial love is still alive and well. Next time, you need to take Addison to see a chick flick! ;D

For sure. I’m totally using this as leverage the next time I want to watch Beaches or Steel Magnolias on the WE channel!
