Hi Josie,
I thought I left a comment yesterday but don’t see it now. Must have done something wrong (an elder affliction maybe).
Anyhow, I have fond memories of Guam in the early 1950s, when I was in the USAF at Anderson, maintaining B-29s in the 54th Strategic Weather Recon. Sqdn. As I recall Tumon Bay at that time, there was only a Quonset hut for a snack bar on the beach.
I have some digitized color slides from that period if you’re interested — some of the Base but mostly the cliffs and breakers off the NE end of the island.
Thanks for this site,
Bruce
This is one of the most beautiful rainbow shots on Guam that I’ve ever seen. I’ve tried many times to capture one like this — not a professional looking one, just of a full rainbow. It’s a beautiful picture!
