Tumon Bay (click to enlarge)
I love the precious minutes of sunset when everything turns to gold.
I often wish we had more than two seasons on Guam, those being wet and dry.
I’d love to be somewhere to witness the changing colors of autumn.
Autumn envy? Yes. Winter? No way.
I get cold when the air conditioner’s on. I wouldn’t make it through the winter.
Gosh Josie, I LOVE that picture of Tumon Bay. I’ve been addicted to your site since your pictures capture almost everything I miss about home. My countdown starts….I’ll be home in 3 weeks!
ah yes, Christmas on Guam…that’s great weather for winter. remember what Mark Twain said about SF—it was the coldest summer he ever had. fortunately, it stays like this all year round here…
wow, love the colors!
This needs to be a desktop wallpaper it is so stunning. I guess because I never travel (not from want, but from finance :0)) you never imagine that oceans are really that blue (the bodies of water I’ve seen were never that color) and it looks like you could touch the sky. So pretty.
What a beautiful picture… ahh home.
Before you shoot down winter, let me tell you about a phenomenon I never experience back home: allergies. I can go boonie stomping all day and be fine. Over here in California, I can’t even mow the lawn. I love the sun, but I welcome winter too, because all the plants are dead and I don’t havce to worry about allergies. 🙂
Wow Josie! Now I’m majorly mahalang for the island!
Hi Josie! Once again, a beautiful picture that screams “Guam!”
If I weren’t living on Guam at the moment, I’d get homesick just looking at it. 🙂
Yes, this is home. Thanks for sharing this beautiful picture of our beautiful island…:)
I have been in California for 3 years now and I am so happy I found your website! You take such GREAT Pictures! Thank you for making it a little easier to live here!
Thank you everyone. And welcome to you first time commenters. 🙂 Nice to see some new “faces”.
