Last night we went to the Tumon Golf Driving Range and whacked the crap out of a bucket of balls. It was my first time and I did a few swings and misses, but by the time we got down to the bottom of the bucket I was starting to feel like I was getting my golf stance down. I can’t wait to go back! It was time, money and energy better spent than watching a movie at the theater. It was also good exercise (the kind that doesn’t FEEL like exercise) and stress relief.
Addison joked (but I know he wasn’t really) about how he sometimes feels left out when I break out my camera during our outings and float off into my own little world. Oops, my bad. I guess when I’m behind a camera I tend to forget about what and -more importantly- WHO is around me because I’m busy thinking and framing shots. So it turned out to be a good thing that I forgot to grab my gear when we headed out last night. Since I didn’t have my camera to distract me, I was able to focus on having fun with my honey out on a real date. It turned out to be the highlight of my week.
So I said to him, “Baby, I know exactly how you feel! I call them Playstation2 or Junkyard Wars moments!”
I was joking, of course. Sort of.

weirdness. i’ve really been wanting to try out golfing lately. i mean, my mom plays a bit, her fiance plays, his two boys play, some of my friends whack balls a bit (hrm?)… it seems like the right thing to do right now. weirdness. glad you got to try it out! hope you have fun with that!

It was fun. I don’t think I’m anywhere near ready for a real golf course, but I like practicing. If we had a real miniature golf place here, I’d be down for that.

Now you can see why I go when ever I can. Golf is really boring to watch, but its a fun sport to play. the driving range is pretty cool when you just want to hang out and release some stress.

I was disappointed that the second floor was closed off. Addi says that’s where the mechanical ball feeders are. Oh well. I’ll call you next time we go!
