Faking it

A friend of mine asked me to “enhance” a photo of her so she can take it to a plastic surgeon to show him what she wants her breasts to look like. I think my friend looks fabulous just as she is, and I really don’t understand her desire for fake bits. I don’t understand any woman’s desire for fake bits, tell you the truth. If I really needed it, I could probably go for a tummy tuck or liposuction, but I couldn’t do any of the procedures where one is injected or implanted with stuff, i.e. botox, implants, collagen, etc. The thought of walking around with fake bits or anything synthetic gives me the heebee jeebees. Especially, ESPECIALLY the butt implants that seem to be a hit on Extreme Makeover. Fake ass? Totally gross me out!
I’m so ready for lasik eye surgery though. Someone please bring that to Guam ASAP. I hear it’s pretty cheap in the Philippines and you get it done at the mall. Surgery and shopping. Cool!

Yeah, the Philippines can be a trip sometimes. A friend of mine had lasik done at an actual clinic in Manila, and a former boss and her husband had it done at the mall I think. They even bought a DVD of their surgeries!

I recently checked, it was around $1100 for both eyes. I heard a quote from Hawaii for $3000…per eye! There are quite a few people here on Guam I’ve talked to who are very happy with the results. They also do other types of surgery to correct vision, other than the Lasix.

Thanks, Jack! Are you going to have the procedure done?
