Wow…in aug I paied 3x that much to go to Portland. I’m not sure if I’m more upset or shocked.
NWA doesn’t have any direct flights to Honolulu, I wonder if you fly on Continental (cool) or have to connect though Nartia (not cool)
Oh I know, isn’t this great??? I put in my vacation request form. I’m hoping to go to Hawaii!! 🙂 Here’s hoping (my 1st attempt at a vacation request was denied).
Oh and by the way, if you guys do get to go to Tokyo, I have a book you might want to borrow. And also … a subway schedule (w/c u can get from the Internet) would be nice, as the train system there is very dependable and clockwork. If you are going to go exploring in the northern region, a JR rail pass would be recommended because it can save money. However, if you will just be there for a few days, it may not. It depends.

Thanks for the info. I sent it to my parents right away. Hopefully, they’ll come and visit for Christmas.
