just finished….i bet you know who makes the final three. 🙂
it’s good to see the guam on tv.
also, m. bordallo was on the colbert report last week….
It was awesome!
I just saw the episode internally…pretty cool: http://www.kuam.com/news/22261.aspx
Didn’t you say you had to sign a confidentiality contract? How were you involved? I half expected to see you standing next to Phil saying, “Welcome to Latitude 13…” Instead, it was Joy and I was a little sad that it wasn’t you. 😛
Our involvement was purely logistical. I wish it had been ME at Hafa Adai Taxi when the last team got lost and needed someone to drive them! LOL
For some reason I remembered to check the television at the correct time since we don’t usually watch. We got a big kick out of seeing Guam and screaming at the guys who got lost – seriously, how do you get lost between AAFB and Naval Station? I have to say the island looked good. Too bad you couldn’t get a cameo in there somewhere!
i think its pretty gay how they HAD to have both military bases on the show…wow now more people will think we are just another vietnam, korea, etc…a shithole with US military presence oh and where servicemembers go to import wives aka juicies. although it did show how retarded jobs can get in the air force(with the jet washing) imagine that but for dumb little things
its soo great, u cannot even imagine how not impressed i am with that show! because of it you might hear dumb questions/statements like: oh don’t u need a passport to go there? so is it true that the women want off the island soo badly that they actively seek sailors/aimen/soon to be marine husbands?(well there is some of that going on currently) or wow i didn’t know guam was so desolate that pilots manage to get lost
i dunno all i can say is goooooooood going gvb
i’ve been a fan of this show since it commenced and those who have faithfully kept eye of it have a much more broadened appetite for appreciation. as an avid fan, i am also frequent to the message boards that openly discuss the episodes and the response has actually been mostly impressive. while i am just as disappointed that the exposure was so limited, there was nothing outrightly negative. finally, the video clips on TAR’s website show that the interviewed servicemen had only great things to say about being stationed on our island.
