Acrobats of China
We went to see the Shanghai Circus perform last night at the University Fieldhouse. The performances were better this time around compared to last year. The timing was better with fewer mistakes and a lot more humor…a tighter act overall. I wonder if it helped that the airconditioning was working this time. Anyway, the show was a lot of fun to watch. I was a little bummed out because I purposely didn’t bring my D70 as I was so sure security would be checking at the door. Well they weren’t and I missed out on some great photo-ops. All I had with me was my little Coolpix 2500 which always makes it past security (when they’re checking) because it looks more like a pda or cell phone and not like a camera. Anyway, there was no way I was going to get any photos worth posting on that little camera, but I took the opportunity to try out the video recording feature. Here’s a small clip from last night’s show.
Hey Josie! Thanks for the plug! That section of my little photo gallery is getting a lot of hits – the bulk are from your site.
I really wish they publicized that cameras were okay. I’m sure you would’ve had a great time snapping away.

Awesome website! I’m sure many will agree that there is always something interesting to read at Latitude13. The pictures are awesome!
Great job!

Thanks, Rich. If the circus ever comes back to town I’ll know to pack the big gun. At least I have your photos to admire. And if I ever jump the Nikon ship, I’ll know where to go for Canon gear. 🙂 Thanks again.
