Hangin out

or, In the Closet
or, Are you sure you want to wear that today? says Stylist Mantis.
Addison rescued this little praying mantis and put him outside before Regan The Kitty found him. Regan has already killed three others. We can’t figure out how they’re getting in the house.
On an unrelated note, I totally want one of these.
I’ll take one of these, too, even though I need another camera like I need a hole in my head.

I want one of those iPod nano’s too. I think it’s the best thing invented. Too bad they’re discontinuing the mini. Have you seen the ROKR phone? The world’s first mobile with iTunes. I need it. I don’t, but I really want it.
    You should do a podcast.

Personally, I want one of these. Mmm.. wireless! Perhaps when I get back from the desert. Oh and those nano’s don’t hold all the music I want to bring with me to the desert, so I had to get a regular iPod. Too bad. Those nano’s are cu-ute.

If memory serves me right, didn’t you get a new Sony Cybershot just the other day? Hee hee
The new iPod nano looks very cool and sleek. If you like to hike or work out, you might consider the iPod Shuffle. Toni has one and loves how light and unemcumbering it is when worn on its supplied lanyard. I have a 40 GB iPod and love it, but it’s not as cool for use during exercise. 😉

Yes I did just get a new Cyber-shot, Michael, but it doesn’t have the cool Nikon swivel. haha
I considered getting an iPod shuffle, but I like the color screen the Nano features. It would be really cool to carry a little digital photo album in my bag. 🙂

At the gym… one eliptical down… was Travis, “The Big Show”. I had my iPod 3G and he had a cool iPod mini. I wanted one… thinking how much more portable it was compared to mine. Before I could finish that thought, it fell from the perch it once rested on. Yikes!!! After 6 or 7 feet of freefall, it crashed and tumbled. With headphones still on, I let out a compassionate “OUCH” to let him know I felt his pain. He mouthed a different four-letter word. Hehhe.
Definitely gonna get me a nano. Maybe even the black version.
Have you seen pics of it when taken apart? I saw a Microdrive inside. Is it solid-state or is there a tiny hard drive in it?

  6. disneymike says:

RichT – According to the Apple website, the iPod nano uses a 2 or 4 GB flash drive, so it’s solid state. I like the idea of using a flash drive because it’s more resistant to shock and it doesn’t skip like a hard drive can. ;D
I’m predicting Josie will have one very soon. Hehe

all i know, after a short 5 hour plane flight, nobody is taking my little shuffle from me. a world of difference from all that preceeded it. i love it!

  8. disneymike says:

Josie – Doggone you! I started looking into the iPod nano because of you and found that it uses a flash drive. And then I decided that Toni would really like it because of its small size and shock resistance, so I surprised her with a white 4 GB one this evening. ;D
    Have a great weekend!

  9. Josie says:

Wow! Maybe you should write about the iPod Nano on YOUR weblog so my husband can read about it and surprise me with a white 4GB too! 😀 Have a great weekend with Toni & the new nano!

  10. disneymike says:

Josie, if you check my blog, you might find an entry about the iPod nano. Hehe
Have a great weekend with your wonderful husband, Addison! ;D

My grandma had a cat that always killed praying mantises all the time. Thing was, my chamorro grandma always called them.. “pray MAN toos” and I never realized what she was talking about until recently when my brother explained it to me.
Aloha from Hawaii by the way =)

I want the Nano too! Im glad I didn’t rush and get the shuffle like I was about to last week. I want a black one!
BTW, Mantis are suppose to bring good luck! Have you had any yet?

  13. Josie says:

Brian your grandmother’s accent cracked me up because I can imagine exactly what that sounds like! LOL and Aloha!
Trench, I’ll let you know if I win the powerball. haha
