I watched it on tv last night and again this morning and it had me cracking up both times. Ms. Madeleine Z. certainly held up well during the interview and was very gracious, as always. If you watch the Colbert Report regularly, you know it could have been A LOT worse! LOL

He's taking me to see 3 X Ives (Three by Ives) at the University Theater. I always jump at the chance to attend any of the theater productions that Guam puts out since they are so few and far between. I'd rather see a play than spend a couple of hours in front of the television or in a movie theater. Live performances are just a lot more exciting to me.

Last weekend I saw Theater Guam's "The Odd Couple" and it was fantastic! If I hadn't scored a couple of free tickets I might not have gone at all since the tickets are $75 for the dinner show. I believe next weekend there are some cocktail shows and tickets for those are just $25. It's great entertainment (very funny) and the proceeds benefit the Guam Museum Foundation. Check it out!

[UPDATE] Tonight's play had better be over early enough for me to get home in time to watch this.

The Home Depot is opening soon on Guam and they're looking to hire a bunch of employees. The only way to apply for a job with them is to go online to careers.homedepot.com/grandopening. Once you're there it gets a little tricky because you have to enter Honolulu, HI as the in-store city you want to apply in. There are 3 Honolulu stores that pop up so I guess you should select all three and go from there. THEN after you apply online you're to call Home Depot's HR Department in Hawaii or contact them by email for further instructions. There's an employment ad in today's PDN that lists all the positions they need to fill as well as their contact information.

I wonder how many qualified people are not going to apply because they are not "computer" people or for other reasons.

My bff is in today's PDN. Didn't I tell you that everyone I know and love will be in an ad sooner or later?

I shot the photo of Julie and Diego, but the concept and layout isn't mine...which I'm a little disappointed about. The Client didn't go with my original design even though I think it's awesome. What do you think?

I was very saddened to hear the news that a man drowned at Tanguisson yesterday.

My friend Roel and I went looking for a place to swim and snorkel yesterday afternoon. While driving through East Agana, Piti and down to Agat I noticed the surf was a little rough. I pulled up to the beach in Agat and we just sat in the car a few minutes, surveying the water. After some discussion we decided to drive further south to Merizo where the water was a lot calmer.

I know you're thinking, Merizo?! That's a long way to drive just to get in the water!

It was a bit of a drive, but I really don't mess around when it comes to water safety, especially when I'm with friends. I know I could not live with an accidental drowning on my conscience.

But about Merizo. It was so nice and calm. We swam out towards Cocos Island, and I have to admit that after 20 or so yards of not being able to see anything down below me because the water gets really deep and blue, I started to feel a little nervous thinking that something could come out of nowhere and swallow me whole. I have a pretty active imagination. :P

I think we'll just pick up where we left off.
