It's trippy that this photo has been looked at 5,000 times and that 33 people call it a favorite.
It was my plan originally to take more ninja photos in ordinary settings, i.e. Ninja Watching a Movie, Ninja at the Beach, Ninja Grocery Shopping. Hopefully I'll get around to that in the future.
For as long as I can remember, I've filed my taxes sometime between 11:00pm and 12:00am on April 15...I think the closest I came to the deadline was 11:50pm. Anyway, I am so proud of myself because I filed online today during lunch. This is the second year I've filed online and lemme tell you, right now I can't think of a single thing I appreciate more than My Guam Tax.
To reward myself for filing so early, I pre-ordered the new Harry Potter book, releasing in July. There is no way I'm repeating the experience I had with the last book that involved waiting in line only to be turned away when I got as close as three feet from the register because Bestseller ran out of books. The best part is Amazon is offering a 46% discount on the book and you know most book shops will be charging the jacket price.
Some things that are occupying my time and money lately (aside from work and social life):
Gene Simmons Family Jewels
The Simmons are infinitely cooler than the Osbournes and, sorry to say, the other Simmons family. Aside from this show, there is nothing I really make a point to watch anymore...not even Grey's Anatomy.
Nong Shim kimchi soup bowls
They put cup a noodles to shame and omg I can't get enough of this stuff. Yes, even for breakfast!
SOCKS
$1.00/pair at A&A Jeans, $2 if you spring for the toe socks (and I love me some toe socks). There are so many styles and colors to choose from; you'll be there so long you'll forget the place smells like mothballs. $30 on two separate occasions ought to tell you I am thisclose to being out of control.
Every few months or so I do a 'Guam' search on You Tube to see what's out there. There are a lot of touristy videos and photomontages, which are fine, but once in a while something a little different and interesting pops up. Like this short documentary on the Guam Greyhound Park.
My grandfather and an uncle of mine were regulars at the Greyhound. I checked it out once almost ten years ago and won $30. It was nice to win, but I guess gambling is just not my thing because I haven't been back.
