Tokyo: Day 3 (Blinded By The Light)
November 25, 2006
Shinjuku desu.

God, how I love this city.
I wish I could say more but right now I need to rest my burning eyes.
Tokyo: Day 2
November 24, 2006
Greetings from Latitude 35.

Everything here is so cute and vibrant. Everything.

Today we walked and walked and found ourselves at Ueno Park where I saw a giraffe for the first time. I was happy.

The people here are so kind and helpful. A man on the street gave Julie his lighter. She was happy. Addi skated up and down the streets while we walked around the city. He was happy. On the way back to the hotel we stopped for dinner at an indian restaurant and it was the best I've had in a long long time. We were all happy.

Today was a good day.
Tokyo: Day 1
November 23, 2006
It's been raining all night and it's cold but I'm not complaining because it's not nearly as cold as it was in Osaka last year. It took a little over an hour to get to the hostel from the airport...the hostel is fabulous by the way. It's within walking distance of a bunch of things in Asakusa and that means money saved on transport. Breakfast is 350 yen, all you can eat toast & jam, coffee/tea and soup. Totally awesome because I could eat toast all day. All day!

Thanksgiving dinner was chicken cutlet at a small joint down the street.
Other than that I don't have a whole lot to report. It was way too cold and rainy to venture out tonight. But the sun'll come out tomorrow. So the front desk guy says.
Hope you all had a fantastic Thanksgiving.
Wish you were here.
On A Vacation Far Away
Happy Thanksgiving!
I'm thankful for many things. I'm thankful I'll be on a plane in a couple of hours bound for Japan, land of sushi and Hello Kitty. I'm also thankful my Brother will be housesitting and feeding the animals while I'm away.
I received a bunch of emails and text messages alerting me that L13 had been hacked into sometime last night (thanks you guys!). I checked this morning and everything was fine so I have no idea what that was about. Right now I don't have time to really look into it, other than going in and changing my passwords. There is wireless at the hotel we will be staying in Japan so I'll monitor and update from there as I can.
Turn it up.
Back on Monday! Be excellent to each other.
Now what?
