Hafa Adai Josie,

I recently entered a comment regarding your visit to our property. Im glad you enjoyed your visit and again, my apologies for all the effort you put into getting there. Im sure its well worth it!

Before i moved to Saipan, i spent all my weekends there fishing, bbqing and just plain lounging. BUT one thing i disliked was people that trespassed. We have been subject to numerous thefts of personal articles most especially historically significant items. I caught a few people stealing from my property who accessed it from the Ritidian Side. Yes the shore would be considered public domain contingent it was a straight line, but the majority of the public domain lies in the water and therefore making the shoreline still our property.

I'd like to continue to preserve the shells, privacy and long walks on the beach for my child and relatives children for generation to come, but if people access our property from an abutting (Ritidian) land, then its still trespassing as most venture into our land from this entrance. I ask you to continue your appreciation for our property but help us preserve the beauty "WE" all enjoy by removing your "you can access this property from Ritidian Beach" on your web page. The privilege of owning property is an immense responsibility, therefore we ask you to preserve it as well.

This is an open call for submissions to be included in an 18 Clips: video segment.

Questions:
What was your first car (year, make, model, color) and how old were you when you got it?

Optional:
Did you buy it (how much did you spend) or was it handed down to you (who gave it to you)? Did you love it or were you embarrassed to be seen in it? How long did you have it? How many miles did you put on it? What happened to it? What do you drive now?

And so on. You don't have to answer every single one of those questions. The main question is really just "What was your first car?" The other questions are there to help bring out your story. I like stories.

Of course there are rules. Please read them all.

1. No nudity or funny business. You know what I mean. If you don't know what I mean, it means your videoclip should be rated G. Ok...PG13.

2. Clips should not exceed one (1) minute in length. That is plenty of time.

3. One video clip per person, please. If you have more than one person in your house/family wanting to participate, that's totally cool, but each person is limited to 1-one minute clip. Two people in the same clip is totally cool, too.

4. When recording your clip, please give me a couple of seconds of lag time before you start talking and again after you've finished. This will help tremendously by giving me some room for transitioning.

5. You can send your video clip to me via email at 18clips@gmail.com or via yousendit.com. Please include your name, where you live, and contact email address.

6. Deadline to submit is Monday, September 25, 2006. If you send it earlier than that, I'll be your best friend.

7. Please stick to the rules. Doing so will ensure your spot in the segment.

Mickey D's in Tamuning, smarty pants!

There was a tie at the end of Round 3 between Maricar and Brian (8 points each). Since they are separated by the pacific ocean (he's in HI, she's in OR) I can't have them arm wrestle for the title. So I had Brother pick a number between 1 and 10 and the number he picked made Brian the winner. Congratualtions Dr. Que!! I will be in touch to get your mailing info. Your prize will be mailed out this week with Round 2 winner Christine's (Hi Christine! Soooo sorry!). The prizes from each round are different so keep playing even though you won a round already! :)

As usual, Where Am I? Will be taking a two week break before Round 4 begins. Meet back here at 12 noon on October 6. Can you believe we've been at this for 24 weeks? Time flies!
