I don't know about you, but I really need this holiday weekend. I haven't enjoyed 3 consecutive days off since the new year, I think.

I don't have a lot planned but I am definitely making time for the beach if weather permits. I'd like to slip in a little nightswimming, but it's been overcast and raining a lot lately and that means the water will be cold. We'll see how it goes.

What have you got planned for this Labor Day weekend?

speaking of night-time-outdoorsy things to do, i would like to go night-cycling, haven't done that in a while, got the route already in my head...first thing's first, I have work on Saturday and a bbq to attend to on Sunday...have a great weekend J

I'm going to the Oregon State Fair - so exotic (to me anyway). Deep fried Twinkies, 4-H clubs, ribbons for the best jam...I can't explain why it tickles me so - except it's so very different than growing up in Malesso.

I'm working. Ugh. But I just want to point out that cold water is RELATIVE. I'd kill for a dip in Guam's "cold" ocean right now. Or just a swim in an OCEAN (Colorado is too darn inland).
