Annie Leibovitz has been my hero and an inspiration for so many years. I just LOVE all 20 covers she shot for the upcoming July issue of Vanity Fair. They made my heart ache. That, to me, translates as great concept & photography.

"For this special issue, Graydon Carter, Bono, and Annie Leibovitz collaborated on the unprecedented set of 20 covers to show a prominent group of people having a 'conversation' about Africa."

My favorites are Geroge W & Desmond Tutu, Maya Angelou & Madonna, and Alicia Keys & Iman.

have you heard of barack obama? he lives not too far from me. my sister lives very close to him. she was at the Dean of the Law School for University of Chicago's house and saw a Christmas card from obama on the fridge. it was shot by Annie Leibovitz on the campus of university of chicago.

I, too, just adore Annie Leibovitz. Her work is breathtaking... as a photographer myself, she is such a celebrity to me.
