Pushing a turkey through an opening the size of an orange

You want to know what scares me?
When women share the horrific details of their giving-birth experiences.

121405.jpgYou know what REALLY scares me?
The fact that my sister-in-law just gave natural birth to a 10 lb. 14 oz. baby girl.

I suppose you ladies who have had children are not fazed by other women's labor stories, but as a woman who doesn't have kids, the thought of delivering a baby that weighs almost ELEVEN POUNDS causes my uterus to shrink to the size of a pea and contract into my throat.

And while 11 pounds is big, it is no where near the world record for heaviest birth.
Believe me, I checked.

Goodness, that's heavy. Hope the baby is doing well though.

Mom and baby are fine. Addi saw them yesterday and says baby is so big she looks more like a 2 month old and not a newborn. lol

Wow. Thank goodness Malia came a month early. The doc said she was very big. Don't ever read my birth story then, it'll scare you and you won't want to have any. However, I'm still trying to reach my goal of 10 kids. LOL
