Have you people at the Guam Hilton LOST YOUR MINDS?

$2.50 for a KIT KAT??????????

Comments

Gosh, I just came through the Narita Airport and it was cheaper in Japan!! Now that's sad....did the Hilton happen to have a personal loan officer nearby? Maybe the price will go down now that Genji is re-opening (About time!)and they'll be making so money.

Maybe it has the Gold Ticket for the Chocolate Factory. Or for a date with Johnny Depp! A girl can wish, can't she?

You should see how much Kit Kats are in Manhattan! :-)
-From a friendly (random) reader who lived in Guam for two years and came upon your sight when searching for "Guam" during a particularly uneventful work day.

unrelated to the gyp-osity that is hotel snacks...i see you got google ads. how are they working out for you? i have to say they aren't bad....not when you compare to the INSANELY hideous ones that were all over Dooce! did you see when that happened?

Well I made five bucks in the last four weeks! (lol) Not enough to quit my job and retire on, but I would be happy just to build up the revenue to cover hosting and bandwidth expenses.

And yes I did see the ads on Dooce. Egad. I normally read the site via Bloglines and though there are some ads on there as well they are not nearly 'in your face' as the actual site is.

$2.50? Per row?

Said Brian Que on 12. 1.05 at 3:36 PM

who the heck markets this stuff on Guam for that price? Disney?

Said vincenzo on 12. 1.05 at 3:50 PM

$2.50 per row would be a steal! I'd buy them all.

Maybe they're trying to make the Japanese feel at home with the outrageous Tokyo-like prices.

Yes they have charging 2.50 per kitkat.. someone needs to forward this to the new owners..lmao.. who are they now and where are they from???

So did you buy some Kitkat..lol..

Ang !!

Hell no...Kimmie treated me to a strawberry cream puff and the worst orange cappuccino in the history of the world. That place is going down.

I actually think the Japanese Kit Kat is much tastier! You should find it in Japan...especially the White Kit Kat. It's different from the U.S. version for some reason...sweeter and richer.

This reminds me of going to the movie theater (here in the mainland) and spending $3.50 for just a king-sized candy bar. I find it wise to put snacks in my purse. *heheheh
