Though it was heartwrenching to watch Guam lose to Curacao (16-1) today in the Little League World Series, I think it is so awesome our boys made it as far as the semi-finals. Of the WORLD freakin' SERIES. I am so very proud.

i was watching tv one night (channel surfin) and saw this boy with the familiar accent. i then realized it was espn2 and they are showing the little league games. the guam team! i'm not from guam, but i was thrilled about it so i ran downstairs and told brent to change his channel and check it out.
too bad they're done- but still, we're very proud of them.

That's so cool. What's even cooler is that is also how Addi and I were watching the game! He was downstairs, I was upstairs. :D

i'm so proud of them, too. we watched them challenge russia & it was an awesome game! i'm so sad they lost, but they made it this far...it still means a lot!

It certainly means a lot. They've worked very hard to get to where they did. And I know there'll be more success to Guam's Little Leaguers!
