Freshy Mucus
Friday, September 17, 2004

Nam Yang Aloe-vera is made from aloe which is called "a lily of desert". You can feel lively and freshy mucus and superiority of aloe.

It sounds disgusting, but if you can get past the thought of "freshy mucus" (bits of aloe gel in the drink) swishing around in your mouth, it really is delicious. Lively, too!

Yeah, I've been shoping at a local asian grocery for years and I still get a kick out of some of their mistranlations, but "Freshy Mucus" about takes the cake. It is made somehow more surreal by having R2D2 looking on aprovingly.

yep. i'd have to agree that "freshy mucus" tops everything i've seen so far. there IS a funny thing above the buzzers at the Fuji Ichiban in tumon, but i can't remember right now...

did you find the david sedaris book at one of the bestsellers or did you Amazon it? i can't find any of his books here.

Annalynn, Addi and I checked three stores yesterday and everyone was out of freshy mucus. Does that make it a big hit?

Carolyn, I bought the book at the GPO Bestseller. For some reason I couldn't find the paperback version on Amazon, but I found it at Bestseller. Anyway, you're welcome to borrow my copy.
