Unemployment: Day 2

Firstly, thank you.
I am overwelmed and incredibly humbled by the number of supportive comments, phone calls, emails with leads for job openings, invitations to free lunches and offers to sabotage my former employer. While I enjoyed reading (and fantasizing over) those messages tremendously, I cannot condone any acts that involve stoning, fokai-ing, egging, sending viruses, spamming, or hanging someone by their ankles from the observation platform at Two Lover’s Point. You guys are a trip. I wish I could hug you all and take you out for drinks and pizza. Thank you so much.
Secondly, what do people do all day once the Today show is over?

time to do the “things i would do when i have the time”…usually for me, comes after “chores i could be getting out of the way of doing things i would like to do when i have the time”….of course, there’s always the food tv. another fave of mine is “organizing”…….
but seriously- knit, paint, write, read, bake….
    have fun!

After The Today Show is over, us folks who are at home watch The View (yeah, seriously), then we eat lunch, take a shower, (maybe) bathe, nap again, read. Lather. Rinse. Repeat.

After the Today Show, I’ve only been privy to my mother’s television programming favorites: Matlock and Golden Girls. Then I schlep my Chamorro mother to her favorite mainland destinations: Dress Barn and Target. I figure this will change once she learns how to drive on her own and navigate four-way stops without screaming, “Jesus Maria Jose!”
I hope you are enjoying yourself.

you know, when i was unemployed i didn’t even bother with TV. i used to drop the significan other to work then head out for a 2 hour run or a three hour bicycle ride…it was great! now that i think about it, i think i was in better shape when i was unemployed…anyway, i think i just made myself realize that i need to hop on my bicycle for an hour…talk to you in a bit… 😉
