Achote and PodWorks

Do you know about PodWorks? It’s a great program that allows you to transfer music from your iPod onto your computer, which is great if you use more than one computer or share music. As you iPod owners know, one of the downfalls of the iPod is you can only put music onto it. Best $8.00 I’ve spent all day.

This is a gorgeous picture! I never knew achote could look so appealing. LoL
When harvesting the achote, you want to look for the pods/ cases that have already opened. Just scratch the seeds out and you’re ready to make red rice… Let me know when it’s ready. LoL šŸ˜‰

Thanks, Tash! I thought maybe you had to salt them or something. From the looks of the number of pods on the tree, I could open my own achote stand at the flea market! Let me know if you want some.

What better gift from Guam to give than a pod of achote, eh? It’s good stuff. I may just wander over and pick some…hehe

Yes, please. And bring an extra ziplock for boonie peppers. Our boonie pepper trees could use some relief.
